We loved Sunny Showers Cottage! The location is perfect for walking to almost anywhere you want to go and the cottage is warm, welcoming and cozy! Everything was perfect! See you again soon! XOXO

This was our second year spending Thanksgiving at Sunny Showers. The location is great, just 1 block from the beach. The home was clean and well taken care of. We live be able to bring our dog and the fenced in backyard is so nice to have for her.

This cottage was perfect for our family of 4 getaway for Labor Day weekend! It’s actually quite spacious inside and we didn’t mind the small parking spot since we had only 1 car and when my parents (who live on the island) came to visit, we were able to get both cars onto the driveway and walk to dinner at Crabdaddys. We brought our pup with and she had a blast on the beach and the outdoor shower was perfect for washing off all the sand on her, us and our beach equipment. We’d love to come back and stay here again in the future!

We loved how close the house was to the beach. It’s just a block and half and a few minute walk to a public access point. It was very dog friendly and we loved the outside shower too. I saw reviews complaining about the size of the driveway, but we fit a half bed truck and an outback Subaru just fine. There is also a grass field right across from the house for the dogs to use. It’s walkable to 2 restaurants and only a mile from the pier and the rest of downtown. It was so close to the beach that it was easy to walk back to the house for lunch, a break from the sun, or to let the dogs out. It was also stocked with a cute snack basket, starter kit for dishwashing soap etc., and even travel shampoo and body wash in the showers. The host was extremely helpful and responsive with any questions we had. We also loved the beach credit included and got a great beach wagon delivered and picked up during our stay, so one less thing to pack. We would love to come back and stay in the future.

Had a nice stay at the Sunny Showers cottage. Very good location.. A block and a half to the public beach access, a 6 minute walk to restaurants like to Crab Trap and Barrier Island, and about a 20 minute walk (or very short drive) to downtown St. Simon's and the pier. Be sure to note that you bring your own beach towels here, and also the outdoor patio/parking area is smaller than it looks in photo, and I was barely able to park my truck there. But we would book it again!

Great spot! Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and great local restaurants. We stayed for a week and we would definitely keep this rental in mind for any future SSI stays.

Perfect location and a very warm and inviting comfortable home. Short walk to an expansive beach and easy walk to town.

The house is in a great location and very comfortable. The front yard looks much bigger in the pictures. Basically, you can fit two cars and then sit in those cute chairs right next to the cars. But the backyard is fenced and perfect if you bring a dog. We had an issue with the dishwasher, and they came out immediately and resolved it. 

We had a wonderful stay everything was so top of the line, nicely decorated and we had everything we needed. Love the cottage will definitely stay again!!

Honestly this place is even better in person! We felt at home instantly; just a few minute walk away from the beach; a short walk to some delicious restaurants or a longer walk to the core of restaurants and shops. The outdoor shower was fantastic. We will certainly be staying here again! Thank you for having us.

We booked at the last minute and were fortunate this house was available. It’s so convenient to the beach. It’s a 5 minute walk to Crab Daddy’s and a brewery, and a 20 minute walk to the village. The house was clean, although the house cleaners didn’t leave a trash bag in the kitchen trash can. The furniture was in relatively good shape. The queen size bed was pretty soft, and the pillows could be replaced with new ones. Our party was 2 couples and that felt like a good size for the house based on the amount of living room furniture. Management company was professional and easy to work with. We had a great weekend!

Three best features: Location, Location, Location.Close to beach, town and bike rental. Generally, very clean upon arrival. Very helpful and prompt management assistance.Good/high quality amenities, accessories, ambiance. Great towels.Very minor maintenance items.All said, we want to return!

We spent Christmas in St. Simon's Island at Sunny Showers. It was a great experience. The cottage was very charming, roomy enough and comfortable with our dogs. The rental agency and owner were great to work with!

It's a great house, we really enjoyed our vacation.
